Led by the talented Culinary Director – Bryan Burger, we embarked on a culinary adventure that took us through five different walking-distance locations within the captivating Blue Tree Phuket. A Sensational Journey:
The evening began at the Tree House, where eager guests gathered in anticipation. From there, we embarked on a Tuk Tuk transfer to the iconic clock tower at the entrance of Blue Tree Phuket. Little did we know that this would be the starting point for our extraordinary journey. With each course, we set off on foot, strolling along the enchanting walkways of Blue Tree Phuket, stopping at various outlets for a unique dining experience at each location.
Revolution Pairing at Clocktower:
Our adventure commenced with a Revolution Pairing at the clock tower. Here, we delighted in a refreshing Eggplant Ceviche, artfully crafted with eggplant, sweet potato, coriander, habanero chili, and popped quinoa. Accompanying this exquisite dish was a handpicked NV Prosecco from the picturesque Veneto region of Italy, elevating the flavors and setting the tone for the remarkable evening ahead.
Radiance Menu at Lifestyle Village:
As we continued our journey, our taste buds were tantalized by the Radiance at the lifestyle village. The main course featured a delectable Low & Slow cooked Trout, complemented by tartare dressing, confit egg yolk, and a zesty touch of lemon. To enhance this culinary masterpiece, we savored the 2016 Handpicked Collection Yarra Valley Rosé, a delightful wine that perfectly balanced the flavors and textures of the dish.
Spice at Arena Cafe:
Our adventure took a spicy turn at the Arena Cafe, where we reveled in a flavorful Gnocchi dish. The yam, rocket, almonds, and spiced capsicum “Kream” harmoniously danced on our palates, creating a symphony of taste. To accompany this course, we were treated to the 2015 Handpicked Collection Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay, a wine that effortlessly complemented the bold flavors and added depth to the overall experience.
Organic at Made in Italy:
The next stop on our journey transported us to Made in Italy, where we encountered a culinary masterpiece in the form of Seared Wagyu Beef. This succulent dish, accompanied by watermelon, coffee, and onion, was a symphony of flavors that left us craving for more. To elevate the experience, we sipped on the 2013 Handpicked Collection Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon, a rich and robust wine that enhanced the depth and complexity of the Wagyu Beef.
Essence at Canopy:
As our incredible journey neared its end, we found ourselves at the Canopy, where the Essence course awaited us. A delightful Apple Terrine, accompanied by burnt-butter ice cream, oat crumb, and salt caramel, was the perfect finale to an unforgettable evening. We savored each bite, relishing the contrasting textures and flavors. This course was paired with the 2020 Valdevieso Eclat, a Botrytis Semillon from Chile, which perfectly balanced the sweetness of the dessert.
