Jampa Hideaway: A Journey to the Soul

Feeling disconnected? In a world full of noise and constant distractions, it’s easy to lose touch with ourselves. Hidden amidst lush jungle in Phuket, Jampa Hideaway offers a gentle reminder to slow down, reconnect, and rediscover the beauty of mindful living.

Every Saturday, this serene retreat hosts a Lunch Experience led by the talented Chef Rick Dingen and his culinary team. The concept celebrates Zero Waste | Live Fire | Local Ingredients, honouring nature through creativity, simplicity, and respect for the land.

Recently, Jampa welcomed Chef Nui from InterContinental Phuket’s Jaras Restaurant for a special collaboration — a one-of-a-kind 8-course lunch that united two Michelin-recognised restaurants under one roof.

An Exclusive Collaboration: Jampa × Jaras

Before lunch, guests are invited to join a guided farm tour, learning how ingredients are cultivated right on site. It’s a moment to appreciate where your food comes from — the soil, the care, and the cycle of sustainability that defines Jampa’s philosophy.

The exclusive menu was designed around a shared ethos of mindful cooking and respect for local produce. Each course told a story, blending global techniques with Phuket’s natural abundance.

About the Chefs

Jampa is part of the Montara Hospitality family, alongside the Michelin-starred PRU. Its philosophy revolves around farm-to-fork dining, waste-free cooking, and firewood preparation — resulting in sophisticated, flavourful, and nourishing cuisine.

Jaras, on the other hand, represents InterContinental Phuket’s take on modern Thai fine dining, reimagining traditional flavours through innovation and artistry. Both restaurants share a commitment to sourcing from local farmers and fishermen, ensuring every bite gives back to the community.

The Hideaway Philosophy

Tucked within Jampa Farm at the Tri Vananda project — a holistic wellness community — Jampa Hideaway embodies the principle of self-reliant living. Waste is separated, biodegradable materials are repurposed into fertiliser, and vegetables are grown to complete a natural, sustainable cycle within the Ban Pru Jampa area.

With its deep respect for nature and people, it’s no surprise that Jampa was recently recognised among the Top 25 Restaurants in Phuket.

Our Thoughts

Dining at Jampa Hideaway isn’t just a meal — it’s a mindful journey.
From the quiet rustle of the jungle to the warmth of the fire kitchen, every detail whispers calm, connection, and craft. For those seeking a soulful escape with purpose, this is a place where food, philosophy, and nature truly come together.
